Violet Class Visit to Massilly As part of their vocational studies.
Wed 04 Jun 2025Violet Class Visit to Massilly
As part of their vocational studies, Violet Class had the exciting opportunity to work with Massilly, a leading manufacturer in our local area. Students were invited to visit the factory to gain real-world insight into the manufacturing industry and explore a variety of roles within the workplace.
During the visit, students didn’t just observe—they got involved! They took part in hands-on activities such as collecting, sorting, and packing orders ready for dispatch. This gave them a true sense of what it’s like to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The visit was made even more special with lunch in the boardroom and a kind reward from Massilly in recognition of the students’ efforts.
This valuable off-site learning experience allowed students to connect with professionals in their field, learn about career pathways, and engage meaningfully with their local community.
A huge thank you to Massilly for such a warm welcome and for providing an inspiring day for our students!

Work Experience
Fri 15 Mar 2024The 14-19 Department had a very important visit from the British Transport Police (BTP). As part of our work experience - exploring the working world around us. We all enjoyed exploring the work the BTP do, and how they keep us. We also had fun playing games, using the walkie talkies and trying out the uniform.
Great work by all who took part, well done. 👏
