Ysgol Crug Glas is a special school based in the heart of Swansea, providing specialist education for pupils aged 3-19 years with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and complex Autistic Spectrum needs. We have three departments; Early Years, Middle school and Y Gorwel; the 14-19 department. We are fortunate to have many specialist areas including a Hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, therapy suite and specialist Nurses on site.

We are a wonderfully happy and caring community where the focus is on the potential and uniqueness of every one of our pupils. We have a dedicated and experienced staff team who work in partnership with Parents, Governors, Health and other external partners to provide the very best education that we can in order to ensure our pupils flourish.

As a forward thinking school with many areas of outstanding, sector leading practice, we are active influencers of current educational reform and ensure that our pupils benefit from an aspirational and inclusive school level curriculum. We pride ourselves on excellent teaching and learning facilities and through individualised learning opportunities and approaches, we unlock the potential of every one of our pupils.
