About us

In the Foundation Learning Department, we emphasize the importance of learning through play, bringing our topics to life in engaging and sensory-rich ways. By incorporating sensory stories, rhymes, and songs, we structure our sessions to be both fun and uplifting, making learning a joyful experience.

Each week, we integrate a variety of activities that extend beyond the classroom. These include the use of technology, exploration in the sensory garden and playground, as well as opportunities for water, sand, paint, and messy play. Additionally, our pupils benefit from soft play, time in the sensory room, and swimming in the hydrotherapy pool.

Our dedicated team of staff, therapists, and specialist teachers work collaboratively to ensure that each child’s learning experience is comprehensive and cohesive. We believe in the power of positive relationships, building trust, and respecting each child’s choices. Every child is seen as an individual with a voice that deserves to be heard.

We fully embrace the pedagogical principles of the Foundation Learning Department, understanding that children learn best through play and authentic, purpose-driven experiences.
